We bought our 1970’s era tract home in December 2011 and have been busy fixing it up every since. It was a fixer. The previous owners had left several unfinished projects and parts of the house were dated and in disrepair. There was a tarp draped over the roof because of a roof leak (which was kind of a plus for us because it kept other potential buyers away). We did some of the more pressing repairs (the roof and water/termite damage) while in escrow, but we’ve been working on the rest ever since! We sure have our work cut out for us!
This home tour is still a major work in progress. Please check back for updated photos!

Master Bedroom
Before:
I know, pretty horrific, right? Stained carpet, broken plastic blinds, awful wall paneling…need I go on…
Progress:
Read about the DIY wood bedframe we made. The master bedroom is still definitely in progress! It’s kind of the catch-all room for all the stuff left over from other parts of the house!
